Created by re-using some of the materials utilized for Ways Out, the works in the Fluxes series form the basis for the evolution of a new artistic experience in the making, rather than a fully formed project. This experience, therefore, releases new energy, producing movement and flux.
These are abstract pieces, without a subject or a definite form. Their protagonist, instead, is the artistic flow itself, its rhythm, which we sometimes find to have been broken up.
We can compare these works to the splashes of water and rain, or at any rate, to the way in which the flow of energy is manifested through its very transformation.
Even the colours of these pieces, through their dissonant notes, appear as if originating from an unknown, restricted elsewhere, whose boundaries must be overcome.
In this sense, Fluxes is itself an escape route.
